I have recently built a new PC - I installed my new PSU but I have noticed the fan is not spinning - is it temp controlled, have I not connected it correctly (cant see what ive done wrong if I havent) or is it just broken?

eh?

No, the Silverstone ST75F has a fan inside the PSU, u can see it through the grill - when my PC is turned on, the Fan is not working.

Does anyone know if this heat controlled or is my PSU just faulty?

It is heat controlled but make sure it works by checking it every half hour or so... if it never turns on then shut down and rma it. I have the same psu and my fan turns on after 10 minutes or so.
