Have you got the game yet Jef?

Been playing L4D most of the time I'm on my computer lately. I've battled with PF a few times, it's a blest.

It's such a simple game, but it goes so deep. I haven't had so much fun on line gaming in years.

I agree definitely simple and thats one of the reasons that makes it so fun. Its actually a very good tool for teaching Carla how to play FPS, but shes alot better than I expected. :)

now to get her to play TFC....



Btw, jef you need to get the damned game, asshole. :P

I bought the game before it came out, but cannot seem to get round to playing it.

Don't know what it is but have played it only a few hours since launch, it should be one i play all the time, but cannot get into it.

Im the same. I enjoyed my "practice" session playing through the campaign but when it came to online play i can never seem to find a decent team, which sorta kills the experience. Havent touched it for about 2 weeks now.

Ye, i was on a few days ago and my team was crap, always the same, i moved quite slowly covering the groups back and instead of checking where everone is the others just charge ahead into traps set by the opposition and then it is over.

well pm me/rc your steam ids and we'll get on there as a decent team, RC's the man when comes to the game, plus its a little more rewarding when you play with people you know. :)

I hear you there Tom!!!!

I play all day with anyone on the pubs and can usually handle my own with them in what ever difficulty..... Friendly Fire is about the only thing that's a pain in lower difficulty..... On Expert level it's a whole different game....

PF's kept me up blasting away with him until 2:30, 3:30 in the morning.... WHEW!!!!

Remember that free online game, Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory? I used to come home pissed, log on, take out a flame thrower and just waste my own team each time we respawned. That used to crack me up. Me and a mate could sit there for hours doing nothing but that. Fcuk knows how many servers I could get banned from on in one night. On the servers with no admins about, we would just force everyone elsewhere.

Hey RC, did you notice how I resisted the temptation to say "I'm British, don't talk to me about friendly fire"? ;)

yeah that hurt me in the morning too, lmfao. worked kinda sucked after that, but I think I got carla addicted to the game.

Yea, I've been seeing her out there quite a bit....

The game pissed me off bad yesterday!!!!

I achieved "What are you trying to prove" and the servers went down with the Achievements on it. That's for completing all of they levels on Expert. It took away my achievement and reset it to 0 completed. I have "Zombicidal Maniac" achievement that is for finishing 1 level on Expert. Now how in the hell can I get ZM and have 0 showing in the WAYTTP achievement????? I've played hard for over a month to get that dam achievement and yesterday it took me 6.5 hours to complete Death Harvest to finish the achievement. Now I'm pissed off at the dam game!!!!!

My son saw it first. He had 3 of the levels completed and then one morning he was back to 2. The next day he was back to 1. I don't know what he has showing now, but he's pissed off as well.

The thing that grinds me ass about the whole thing is, if they didn't want you finishing the achievement why would they put it out there to get????

It has really put a kink in the way I felt about the game. I guess I'll still play it, but it will never be the same game for me as it was grinding through the whole thing the first time to get the achievement.....

it shows you have it on the steam achievement list in your profile. i saw it earlier today... maybe in game its fubar'd? I know i saw it on your update thing they do on steam.

Yea, it's fubar in the game and doesn't show.... One of the guys I play with got it 3 days ago. I'm going to ask him if he got his taken away as well....

Oh well, at least I did it!!!!

Generally speaking, they play as a team ane listen to each other when playing. Makes a difference in Co-Op, and makes a WORLD of difference on Vs.....


BTW RC, a bunch of us used to go on Achievement runs (like the pistol run, no witch run, no healing run) but then we just got bored with it.

Don't let it drive you crazy.

The most fun with this, as with other games, is playing with people you know.
