Alright I recieved my new computer on 1/16/07. The very first thing I did because I was all giddy with excitment is load up Call of Duty 2 and sit down to play. I instantly crashed w/ nv4_disp error. Since then its been pure hell trying to fix this problem. I have tried a host of fixes and non have seemed to work. The main purpose of this computer is to play Vanguard Saga of Heroes. First off let me list what I have under the hood.

E6600
EVGA 680i MOBO
XFX 8800 GTX
700W PSU (recommended by XFX tech to be proper)
2 gig Corsair XMS2 DDR2 800 6400C
2x WD Raptor 10,000 RPM

Here is what I have done:

1. Flashed BIOS to P24 (it was P20)
2. Properly uninstalled and re-installed drivers w/ drive cleaner Pro (multiple versions)
3. Update motherboard drivers and sound drivers
4. Memtest86
5. Updated my logitech mouse drivers due to possible interference
6. Complete re-instal of windows.
7. Updated windows fully.
8. PCMark05 3DMark06 (10106)

I cant for the life of me figure out what is wrong. I really dont want to RMA the card if I cant help it but everything leads to the card being faulty. Would this be causing the problem? I have no problems on the internet or any other application only games. Sometimes I crash right away other times I crash 2-4 hours down the road while playing.

My temps are also stellar. Idle : 33C CPU 29C System and 50C GPU w/ the GPU never breaking over 72C during load. Am I right in thinking that its just a faulty video card. I dont want to get my hopes up then recieve my new card and it keep happening. If its something I have done wrong on my side then by all means Ill fix it but atm I cant think of anything else to do.

In case these help these are the error's I am getting:

0x000000EA (0x895974B8, 0x884AD780, 0xB1A71CBC, 0x00000001)

AND

0x000000EA (0x086D5CB20, 0x86EB3DA0, 0xBACE7CBC, 0x00000001)

Well I found out I did not let Memtest86 run long enough. So I ran it again over night and when I woke up in the morning I had errors. So I took out one stick and ran the other and had errors. I replced that one with the other and ran it and also got errors. So obviously both sticks of my RAM are bad. Would this be the cause of my nv4_disp and not my video card?

Either way i am shipping the computer back to Ibuypower and having them work on it. If it comes back with the same issue I am going through the roof. I just want some peace of mind in regards to what is causing this.
