Why would they lay off graphics people because of CPU performance? Doesn't make sense.

Last year they hired most of 3DLabs workers who became 'free' after Creative decided to abandon their graphics.

IF anything the people let go were pushed out by better quality coming in from outside.

They laid off a ton of graphics people last year when they were getting eaten alive by AMD in the cpu market. They are basically just hiring back people who can actually engineer something that plays games other than mah jong.

more AMD centric bias from the horde.Did you not pay attention to the layoff news at all?Do some reading :roll:
