I have a situation where I get a balloon message saying that there is
updating required(I have arranged for auto updates but inform me first)
There were 4 updates KB832483, KB837001,KB891781and KB3826939. I duly
downloaded them and was informed that the downloading was successful.
But subsequently the balloon message appeared again for the same downloads.
I checked the history and was informed that they had been installed
To make sure I went to the Microsoft Web site and downloaded form there.
With the same result.
How can I stop this happening?

Hi Blair
Did you reboot after the updates? you did not indicate so in your post.
You can check the status of your downloads on the update page on the left
panel under other options - download history as a way to confirm both
downloads and installation. You can also find solutions here

I did reboot and also checked on the history and they were shown as already
downloaded, but I still get the same message to download them again.
