desk.cpl group policy

Archived from groups: microsoft.public.win2000.group_policy (More info?)

When allowing desk.cpl in the control panel allowed applets in my domain, my
users can open the display control panel, but only get access to the
screensaver tab... i wanted to give them access to the screen saver tab as
well as the settings tab to change the resolution.

i tried to allow

desk.cpl
desk.cpl ,2
desk.cpl ,3

but they all only returned JUST the screensavers tab... how would i go about
allowing screensaver AND settings?

You can use Group Policy, User Configuration: Administrative Templates:
Control Panel: Display to enable or disable the tabs you want.
