Currently using an ATI All-in-Wonder 9600XT (AGP) on my P4 desktop. Looking to buy a new LCD monitor. The large (24" ) DELL I'm considering requires that the graphics card be capable of displaying WUXGA (1920 by 1200). Right now am running 1024 by 768 on a 19" SONY but have no way of testing this large wide screen display on the current monitor. My question: Since this was a high end card when new, should I presume that it will support this display? If it can only support a somewhat lower resolution would that give acceptable 2D images? (don't anticipate any gaming on this new monitor).

I have that same card, and I don't know for sure, but I don't think it supports 1920x1200. I'll search around a bit.

Ok, according to the display properties window, it should work with that res.
