Archived from groups: microsoft.public.win2000.group_policy (
More info?)
Hi Jim.
I have not tried it myself but there may be a way to do it. On a Windows
2003 DC open a Group Policy and look under user configuration/Windows
settings/Internet Explorer maintenance and make sure you are in preference
mode which you can select by right clicking Internet Explorer maintenance
and selecting it which should show a category for advanced. Then open
advanced and select internet settings/advanced settings and enable "delete
saved pages when browser is closed" under security and be sure other options
are selected per your preference. Like I said I have not tried it myself but
it may be worth testing out. See the links below for more info and about a
potential problem with W2K computers and the solution.--- Steve
