hi

if a PSU doesnt have a 8pin MB power connector for the CPU like the SS ST50EF/-Plus does it really matter?

current C2D and AM2 CPU's only need the 4pin right?

in the future when there is more QuadCore's will they require the 8pin?
if so will that mean I couldnt use a PSU without the 8pin?

also is a 500W PSU with 35A being supplied to the +12V rails enough for a OC'ed C2D system with a 8800GTX?

Cheers

It will if you ever go quad core but for now you will be fine. If your woried about it then you can get a 4 pin to 8 pin adabter.
ok, i have never seen the adapters before, are they expensive?

do the adapters work ok? wouldnt they make it fit in the 8pin but only give the same amount of power as the 4pin or something?

and what about the 35A - GTX question?

your very helpful mpilch
