Yes. I bought mine at retail in Southern California for about $250.00.
(Their SIR-TS160 does ota AND satellite, according to the description
of one on ebay, so watch what you buy.)
If you don't have an HD monitor yet, that stb also has an output in
standard definition (SD). Many of my stations have more than one
program on at the same time. I get two PBS stations and each one
shows both an HD and an SD program (completely different shows)
simultaneously.
If you buy the STB locally, ask the salesmen what channels are
available in your area. If they're all UHF, for example, you might
just need one roof antenna. (You may "get by" with an indoor
antenna, but outside is better.)
