Intel 975XBX2KR - Good RAM?

I have a co-worker who is building a system to do video rendering and editing. He has this mobo and wanted to know what RAM would be reasonable. He has no intentions to OC. He is looking for value and stability.

I have just built a similar system 975xbx2, e6600 2.4ghz proc, PC2 5400 (this memory is a step below what your friend is looking at). The video card I am running is a XFX1950GT with 512 memory. My setup is not overclocked (yet) and stable. I am also running a SATA Raid 1 with 2 WD 160g SATA drives. Great system, your friend will just need to pick a processor and a video card.

I do not see that there will be a problem.
