Corsair HX 620W vs. Silverstone ST75F 750W...

Both of the above PSU are available to buy for the same price and I wanted to know what you would go for and why. I know the Silverstone is more powerful but the Corsair does come with 5 years guarantee.

Also, I noticed that these two are not listed in as being able to run 8800GTX/GTS in SLi when clearly they can. Why is this? Is there anything special about being certified by Slizone?

Thanks for any help.

the Corsair HX620W was shown running an 8800GTX SLi at CES if I remember correctly. Still... it might be shakey, the Silverstone ST75F would be a safer option

Hmmm. You are right regarding the Corsair having only 2 PCIe connections and therefore not being able to support the GTX in SLI.

To tell you the truth, I will never be running SLI anyway as I will only ever be purchasing 1 GTX, 2 is overkill for me.

The Corsair is now £10 ($20) cheaper and according to Johnny Guru, is better built, more efficient and has a 5 year warranty. Corsair it is then!

Thanks for your help guys!

Peace Out!
