[HotU] Betraying elder brain bug?

Has anyone else experienced funny stuff if you try turning against the mind
flayer elder brain? I gave it the mirror at first, and then later started a
fight in the main city. When I went back to the brain, I got a weird scene
set in a forest clearing, which then cut out. Afterwards, neither Valen nor
Nathyrra were in the party, and even after getting them to rejoin, they
wouldn't move.

This is with both 1.62 and 1.64. The latter does fix a related bug, where
one of the drow slaves in the pens would be hostile after you freed him.
