I'm running a rig with an Athlon 64 3400+, 512MB of dual-channel DDR, and a crap 7300GS. I have about $100 to spend, and I was wondering:

For someone who doesn't have money often, at all, what should I do?

The options are:

Upgrade my motherboard, my RAM to a gig of DDR2, and a 2.4GHz P4, or...

Just buy a set of dual-channel, one gig DDR, which would leave more cash for a nice GPU later on.

Help?

Get a gig of memory and save your money for a 7600GT which I think you can pick up for about 100 bucks. So look at spending around 160 to bring things up to speed. For some one on your budget I see nothing wrong with your current cpu. I assume your board has a pci-e slot correct?

Haha, correct. $160 seems to be perfect for me, and gives me enough time to get everything before UT2007 comes out. Thanks guys.
