hi

i have a requirement. i need to give a user only rights
to join Pcs to the domain and also allow her to install
drivers etc. he is currently doing it as admin which i dont want to.
i know it can be done using group policy
ur help is appreciated

Hi Sridhar,

There may be another way of doing this, but this is how I would do it.
Creating a global group. Add the user to this new group. In Domain Security
Policy|Local Policies|UserRights Assignment|Add Work Stations To Domain, add
the group to the list.
