I wa soriginally thinking of getting the P5b deluxe, but then a freind said he would get me an AB9 (used for testing) for £50. I know the p5b is good but what is the ab9 like?

AB9 or AB9 Pro?
Are you just going to run at stock or do you want to overclock & if so what CPU will you be using?

£50 is a good price.

thats my dillema too (although i have no friends with cheap options ).
im looking to upgrade from my AMD X2 4200 to a Core2Duo

Its an AB9 Pro and am looknig to overclock an E6400 or E6300

Great price for a Pro then.

The abit will probably do 400-450fsb which isn't as good as the Asus but it does that on the 1066 strap whereas the Asus will switch to the 1333 strap ~400fsb.
