Hi.

I am thinking of purchasing a winTV D digital tv tuner, and I was
wondering how good a signal I'll get in Urban area in Brooklyn Heights
(NYC). If the signal is not good enough with a cheap a$$ antenna,
what could I do to get good signal? What does Terk TV55 or similar
antenna do?

Also, I am moving to a new apartment in Brooklyn Heights, and I have
been told that they have their own directv dish installed, and to get
service, I"ll have to pay $100 for the receiver and they'll install
it. When I said what if I already own my receiver, they were saying
still $100 reciver is a better deal ( I can't figure out how). Do
you think that I might need a seperate hardware to connect my receiver
to their directv system? I called DirecTV, but they didn't seem to
know about these.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks.
