Hi,

How important is it to have the right psu for your gfx card?

My friend has a (306w max output PSU) but the GFX card (radeon x1650pro PCI-E) says that the card needs 350w or higher.

Would his lower watt PSU effect the GFX cards preformance?

All his games keep crashing at some piont would that be a sign on an improper PSU?

Thanks

Most likely his 12v rail(s) are underpowered. It's very important to have sufficient PSU perhiferals as it can lead to either crashing or par performance.
