Great man!!!! It's like 2 games now. Campaign that I first started playing and then Survival came out. Survival is what I've been playing every since.

I'll PM you my info. Be looking forward to killing infected with you for sure. Both of my sons play with me as well as my grandson. I can take you through some glitches in the game and get some levels and achievements. I've gravitated to using mostly auto shotty and pistols. Nothing like dropping tanks with the shotty!!

Must have missed that, i just pre-ordered it so who knows, just your comment about too many decisions and controls was odd thought we were talking different game.

L4D is a blast, especially with people you know.

It gets old after a while, but you will put in a good 60+ hours into it before that starts happening (so long as your friends arent lame gits).

TF2 is also a blast, although you should have spent the $$ and gotten the full Orange Box (HL, HL2, HL episodes, Portal, TF2, Counter Strike).

It is very cartoony, but really needs good team play to win. The jokes are a bit more than kiddie:

The game is not 100% like this, but each character is a lampooning of some stereotypical character (from the rubber gloved German Medic, to the smoking french spy in a ski-mask. All classic 1950's schlock).

And the game moves too. They cleaned it up and it is pretty well ballanced.

Killing Floor? It is fun. It needs expansion, but people have already started making custom maps, which I think is one thing that will keep it running for a while. (It is on the old UT 2K4 engine).

I think the only gripe people have had about TF2 was that it was not the same as the Quake mod from long ago. But I think that goes with its deliberate simplification.

One of the biggest complaints I heard for a while was "no grenades". And while I can agree with that, it was also able to make a much more balanced game w/o having people getting so many different possible strategic permutations when you add an extra weapon like that.

It is just plain fun, and can be taken in bursts. I played a lot when it first came out, even joined a team that got its butt kikked and summarily universally disbanded . But after a while it grew dull, and was always infuriating when you played with a bunch of knob-heads.

But the best is always when you can find someone willing to go all melee, or two teams that will go all scout for a sudden death, voluntarily. Sometimes it is the silliness (Jump in the hole!!!) that makes it the most fun.

But for the price? Orange Box was the best set I have ever purchased!

The problem is, it is so very unlike valve,

To A: release a game in such short time,

B: rip of it's customers with an as yet unmoddable game with limited content.

Any other company and this would be fine but it is very out of character.

The hardest thing is finding the right one when they come out. Now L4D has a sequel coming out, not an expansion?

I hope they price it right, or there are going to be a lot of unhappy zombie-recyclers out there.

I didn't play online... I updated the website and played a bit locally...

I still haven't finished the last chapter of the last campaign on single person. Not with all 4 surviving anyway...

So this week is going to blow also, but next week might start to get better... I have 5 softball games over the next 6 days...

I've been pretty busy myself planting the garden and messing with the yard and such. I haven't played in awhile now. I jump on once or twice a day to check out who's around.

I'm getting things caught up so I should be able to start playing again soon.
