Yes but as for your ram, unless you are planning on buying two of the one you selected you will hinder performance. You should buy two of the same size so you can run DUAL CHANNEL. I you are set with 1GB total here is a better solution.

yeah, i'll change to that ram so i can run dual channel, but if you read the reviews on that mobo it has some boot problems =( anyone know of a better mobo than the one i selected for around the same price? thanks.

Sorry I did not read the reviews, I was trying to show that for a couple of dollars more you could get a better motherboard. I would look for something with the Intel 965 chipset.

As for the ram, if you were to stay with the motherboard you chose having a maximum ddr2 667 and you put ddr 800. The board would just default to its maximum.
