This motherboard is on the X5000 XEON platform, and it has 2 x16 slots (tho I doubt they're true x16).

It doesn't have official SLI or XFIRE support. Do you need the motherboard support? I remember reading something about the X1950XT's having native x-fire or something.

you need a board that specifically states whether it supports crossfire or sli in order to able to do so.

there are other cases but this is not one of them so dont even worry about that.
