I'm trying to run RSOP on a number of machines and keep coming up with
"Access Denied" as soon as I try to select the computer to run RSOP on. I am
a domain admin and administrator on all machines, I can manage the machine
and do all administrative tasks on the machine without issue, however RSOP
gives me access denied. Any ideas?

thanks.

If these are Windows XP computers make sure the ICF firewall is disabled or
there is an exception for file and print sharing. The link below has more
details.Is KJ2N your callsign?? I am KK9ZZ. --- Steve

The firewall is not on. I can run RSOP from any other machine. Tried
reinstalling GPMC on my workstation to no avail. Any other ideas? Callsign
- no just an old logon name I had about 7 years ago. Its sort stuck.

Thanks,

Hmm. I would run the support tool netdiag on the domain computer that you
have installed GPMC on to make sure there is no problem with network
connectivity, dns name resolution, or secure channel to the domain
controller and also look in Event Viewer for any pertinent errors. ---

and how to install support tools.
