I was going to build my new rig in March but I decided to order my stuff now. I made some changes to my original project and this is what I just ordered. I expect to have all components in 2 weeks time as components here in Helsinki seem to be out of stock.

Case: Antec Nine Hundred

Motherboard: MSI 975X Platinum PowerUp Edition

CPU: Core 2 Duo E6600 (overclock from 2.4 Ghz to 3.0)

RAM: Corsair TWIN2x2048C4-6400 EPP (4-4-4-12)

PSU: OCZ GameXstream 700W

HD: 2x Seagate Barracuda 120 GB 7200.9 SATA NCQ 8MB cache

Optical Drive: LG GSA H12N Super-Multi 18x Dual Layer

Keyboard: Wolf King Timber Wolf (Wolf Claw II)

Mouse: Logitech B85 UltraX

Speakers: Logitech X-230 (2.1)

Monitor: LG L204WT (20.1'' Widescreen, 1680x1050)

GPU: Asus GeForce 7300LE 256 MB

Yes, you're reading right; the GPU is a GeForce 7300LE, which plain sucks. The thing is, this is just a place-holder until I get an ATI X2800XTX in March/April.

As for the PSU, it is overkill right now, but the price difference from the Antec TruePower Trio 650W was just 30 euros, so this one was a must. Also, I expect this PSU to last at least the next 4 years and it will have to deal with an overclocked Quad Core in less than 2 years and whatever high-end GPU nVidia/ATI throw at us for the next 4 years, so this is kind of future-proof (I dont use either SLI/Crossfire). This one will have enough juice for that.

Comments are welcome.

Change the mobo to either a P5B Deluxe or P5W DH Deluxe, a Tuniq Tower 120 or Scythe Infinity for the hsf, and a tube of Arctic Silver 5 or MX-1.

Looks like a good setup. Shouldn't you have asked this before you ordered?

Thanks for the comments.

1Tanker: yes, I asked before in another thread but I made some changes to the setup due to availability/price comparisons here in Helsinki. I posted this new final thread just for some discussion about components and to know what you guys thought about it, although I won't be changing this setup unless I must due to delays in arrival of components.

The only thing that I may change is the motherboard ( to a ASUS P5B Deluxe or P5W DH Deluxe precisely) if the current one is delayed.

Thank you guys!

If you live near a CompUSA and can cancel your case order, they are offering the Antec 900 for $80

since hes in helsinki, i doubt they have a compusa.

I suppose CompUSA is a store in the US? I live in Helsinki, Finland, I think there's no CompUSAs here.

Yeah, i suppose the plane ticket to the USA would not be worth it   Sorry bout that

Actually, I wanted a Thermaltake Big Typhoon VX. For 40-50 euros my opinion is that you can't get any better than that. But unfortunately it seems that they are inexistent in Finland, so I'll get one in the sumer when I go to Portugal. I'll overclock to 3.0 Ghz with stock cooler for now.
