I'm putting together the parts list for my new PC. I just want to double check that the Corsair CMPSU-520HX power supply compatible with the Gigabyte GA-965P-S3.

The GA-965P-S3 manual states it has a 24 pin ATX connector. The Corsair PSU manual says it "Supports the latest ATX12V v2.2 and EPS12V 2.91 standards and is backwards compatible with ATX12V 2.01 systems."

Do these pieces of hardware work together? I want to be sure before ordering.

Usually, it's the case you have to be worried about. As long as you have any form of ATX case (except maybe micro) the power supply should be fine. Most MB's use 24 connectors and yours is a fairly recent chip (965) so you shouldn't have problems. Give us a list of your parts so we can make sure you'll have power to run your system without errors. Unless of course you've already used the PSU calculator.
