I have an Asrock 939Dual-Vsta and I can't overclock the memory because the maximum voltage for the board is 2.8, and the memory is 2.8 default...

But I found a way to mod the board so that it gives 3.2 volts to the memory, will I need to add fans to the memory modules?

it is a 2x512 premium kit with heat spreaders

Actually, the memory is 2.5V default, and 2.8V manufacturer-sanctioned overclock. Thus, 3.4V will be something like a 35% voltage increase over the designed operating voltage. It may work, it may not. However, the increased voltage will still increase the chance of failure even with cooling, and the module certainly won't be covered under warranty at 3.4V.
