Hello kind, giving and intelligent people. I have a Toshiba satellite T130-11J and have Windows 7 installed. SUddently my USB ports are no longer working. I have updated the drivers but still they are not working. Would be most grateful if anyone had a solution. I hope its not a new motherboard that I need.

Many thanks
J

Hi,

How old is your laptop.

I would return it for a refund and get a an Asus instead.

Here's a thread where a Toshiba technician complains about bad usb port in their laptops.

You can buy a PCMCIA USB 2.0 card. if you a a slot available in laptop.

good luck
