Group Policy Managment 1.0.2
Windows 2003 Server

I am running a school district. I have a user policy that sets up the
Favorites in Intenet Explorer for all elementary students when they login to
a computer. That way you can add a link to all students and they are all in
the same place for the teachers and students to find. The links show up most
of the time but about 10 percnet of the time they don't. If you run
GPUDATE.EXE they still may or may not show up. The problem in trouble
shooting this is that it is not consistent. Same user Same computer
different day and in one instance the link will show up and the next they
don't.

Any suggestions on how to trouble shoot this would be appreaciated.

This may help. Use Group Policy and go to computer
configuration/administrative templates/system/Group Policy and configure the
setting for Internet Explorer maintenance policy processing and set it to
process even if Group Policy objects have not changed. --- Steve
