When my clients connect to the Terminal Server even thought they specify
True Colors on the client and the local machine is set to that they only get
16 colors. Does anyone know of a policy setting that could be set that
would step it down to only 16 colors.

Thanks
Norman

Check the rdp-tcp connection properties in the terminal services
configuration. There is a limiter there on the 'Client Settings' tab that
indicates the maximum amount of color depth your client can use.

You can find this policy in a GPO or in the terminal service configuration.

In the terminal services configuration, choose properties on the RDP-tcp and
then client settings.
