Hello,

I want to upgrade a system which is currently in a Antec SX1030B File Server Case.
I would like to keep the case but I'm concerned because it's not TAC compliant. I'm wondering if this would affect performance / airflow / ...
If necessary I do have the 3 standard Antec 80mm casefans which I didn't need (maybe untill now?).

I want to upgrade to:
- Fortron BlueStorm 500W ATX12V v2.0 24pins 120mm 85% ROHS
- Asus P5B Deluxe i965-E S775 Core2Duo FSB1066 DDR2 800 PCI-E
- Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 (2.40GHz) S775 FSB1066 4MB Boxed+Cooler
- Arctic Freezer 7 Pro
- Corsair TWIN2X2048-6400, 2x 1024MB XMS2
- XFX GeForce 7600-GS 256MB PCI-E
- Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 SATA300 250GB 7200RPM 16MB

Any comments on my upgade are welcome also.
- I like a stable, silent and fast system.
- Main use: Photoshop, Soundforge, Ableton, ...
- I do not OC
- I like some gaming but I'm happy with a reasonable-priced graphic card.

Thanks in advance

Thanks for your post!

Because I don't have an airduct I choosed the Arctic Freezer because it's blowing the hot air to the back of the case where, if needed, I can put those Antec 8mm casefans (and also one at the front).

As all fans make noise I want to install as less as possible of them...
I guess I'll have to test and measure temperatures when all this is installed?

Since I read that the bios temperature measurements aren't that accurate, how can I do this?
