The best do not have wireless, they are seperate AP with High gain antennas. The most of the LT built in are crap.

Yeah, you kinda left that questions a bit open ended. With no price range or requirements other than long range, I'd say any router will do up to about 4-5 mbps. After that it might be beneficial to look into the premium routers.

As for long range, as Blue said most everything integrated into one box is going to have horrible wireless performance when compared to a standalone AP. The absolute best AP I've found for all out range is the Senao CB3. To give you some kind of perspective, I recently helped a buddy of mine install a pair of them at his hotel which is four stories on the beach here in FL. The APs are both in the front on the side opposite the beach and I could still get a good signal walking down the beach probably 300-400' in either direction. This is with 6dBi omni antennas too, nothing fancy.
