Hello guys, just built a new system last night to replace my old bakup computer. Its a sempron 2800(overclocked to 1.8 ghz) 128 mb 5200,1gb memory, 100gb hard drive, 4x dvd burner, on a km800 motherboard. It replace my athlon xp 2200, and athlon m 1ghz(overclocked to 1.333 ghz) backup systems. I have so much more space now. The sempron chips are great and cheap. As it stands I now have only three pcs, X2 4200. sempron 2800, and core duo notebook. My newphew is the proud owner of the 2200, which now has a radeon 9600xt instead of geforce 440, and it has 1gb og memory instead of 512, the other system is boxed up for later disposal.

I said pretty much the same thing, only with a little sarcasm. I did mean the congrats sincerely though, going from a 2200+ to a 2800+ is a pretty good upgrade.

My latest upgrade was a 2200+ to a E6400 @ 3.2 ghz.
Now that's a change.

So?
Why have you openned a new thread in the CPU section?
Do you think that anyone is interested about your "new extreme" system?

Pentium III 866 MHz to E6600, top that (of course, I'm still waiting on memory and a graphics card).
