Tubes are heavy but low maintenence.
LCD's projection look great but will need a new light source after
5000-10000 hours. (Light $200-$400)
The Sony 42" LCD is a great set and only 88 lbs.
DLP's projection look great but will need a new light source and/or color
wheel after 3000-10000 hours. (Light $250)
The Samsung 43" DLP is beautiful and only 67 lbs.
Extended Warrenty/Service plans run $200 - $500 for 3 or 4 years.

Are you speaking LCD and DLP? They have no convergence issues, except
for the multi chip units.
CRT however does.

That's what I meant - the OP wanted to know the differences between the
various technologies and having to do periodic convergence adjustments may
be a concern to some folks.
