I have synced a Microsoft Excel 2002 file to my Windows Mobile 2003 pocket
pc. I believe that it converts it to a pocket excel file in the process. I
have noticed that when working with the spreadsheet on my Dell Axim x50v
that the screen will not move or adjust according to the location of the
cell I am trying to work with. I can only display the first 5 columns and
when I try to move past these the screen does not scroll. Anybody else had
this experience or know how to fix it?

Is it only that file? Are all the functions used in it supported by
pocket excel?

Try copying all of the data from it (on your PC) and pasting it into a
new excel sheet, save that with a different name and try synching that
with your ppc.

I did what you said and noticed that this behavior seems limited to a
specific worksheet. I did some further copying of other spreadsheets and
didn't have any problems. I have finally concluded that the worksheet that
I was using had "freeze panes" which prevented the view from changing. This
wasn't real clear when working on my handheld. Thank you for the guidance.
It set me on my path to humility.

Try highliting the whole speadsheet by clicking on the upper right
corner speadsheet. Then hit VIEW and see if the screen is in Freeze
Pane
or Split screen mode. If so, Unfreeze or Unsplit the screen. This
worked for me.....Mackey
