I am building buy my computer next week and I have only one question remaining.
The ram is going to be ddr2 800MHz, either
- Kingston KVR800D2N5/1G DDR2 1024MB 800MHz CL5
or the equivalent with CL4 timing (corsair?)
Is it worth the extra money, and what difference does it make (is it noticeable)
If you intend to overclock, then buy C4, as C5 won't leave you much ceiling to do so. If you firmly intend to remain at stock clock, then the RAM performance difference between C4 and C5 is typically less than 2%, and is negligable to overall system performance. 8)
