Please Help Me!!!!!!

im working on a computer for a friend and im running into troblem. They did have Windows XP Home Edition SP2 and i upgraded them To Professianal SP2 this computer is a HP Pavillian a340n. I cannot get the on board LAN nor the PCI Slots to work. I upgraped the BIOS i made sure the on board lan was enabled in the bios. Im pretty sure i got the right chipset drivers cause the board in this computer is the intel 865-G series board. Also nothing such as network apadtpers appear in the device manager. Network Card wont detect i need help please....

did you say you flashed the BIOS?

if those components are enabled in the BIOS and they're not coming up in WinXP, i'd say the flash didn't go as planned. you probably used the wrong release or summin'

if you didn't flash the BIOS then I don't know what the issue is.
