3dmark normal for an e6400?

Hi,

I have receives my new computer. I have a intel e6400, igig ram ans a 7900 gs vidocard (with updated drivers) I have tested it on 3d mark 06. The result was 5128. Is it normal for such a configuration?
The result was better than on my pentium 4 2.4 ghz, 1 gig and radeon 9800...which was..502 !

Sounds about right. I've got the same CPU and GPU as you and I think I was in that region at stock. Of course, a little tinkering and I get about 1000 more 3Dmarks these days.

i scored a 5500 with a single core amd 3700 and a 68gt.

The topic creator means 3Dmark06, not 3DMark05. Your 3DMark06 score would be a lot lower than the topic creator's.

yeah i score around 10000 on 05 with sli.
and around 5500 on 06.

6000 on 05 with one card and 3200 on 06 with one card.
