I've tried for almost 4 days and I can't install any 64 bit OS. I have a Phenom II X4 955 BE, and a Asus M4N68TM_V2 mobo, with a Corsair 4GB DD3 stick.

If I run Open Suse 64 bit, it just freezes...

If I try to install windows 7, it only let me install x86 versions... (even if my windows 7 is x64).

what can I do? :(

Solution
check that your bios is up to date using the asus ez flash utility.
then in the bios under advanced -> cpu configuration, make sure microcode updating is turned on.

So far I've done the following:

Update EVERYTHING.
Tried to install several 64 bit OS's (Windows and Linux), from DVD, CD and USB, with no luck

I tried bigbang's solution.. no luck so far...

I'm desperate.. what else can I do? :(
