Hey, i'm new, been lurking for a while, first post, blah blah..

I need help deciding on a new sound card, and im stripped for cash. I can stand my onboard no more. I was looking at these 3 cards, which do you guys think? Any suggestions on different ones?

Audigy SE for EAX3.0, or Chaintech AV-710 for better stereo DACs, no resampling for music, and a digital optical out.

I seem to be stuck in the same problem, other than the fact that I tried the Creative card and it sucked horribly..... right now i am planning on getting Logitech's X-530s, and i think that i can't use those unless i get a sound card... i dont know, but i know that my onboard sound allows me to switch my Line Out to Front Speaker out, and my Line In to Rear Speaker Out, and my Mic In to Center/ Sub out. Any input would be great if my onboard will work or if i will need a sound card and which one out of those 2 (AV-710 or Diamond Xtremesound). Thanks
