....is nice.

I finally took the plunge and bought a blu ray player last week. And I must confess, I'm lovin' it.

Just a shame that it's so darn expensive (the dvd's) - but then I found Amazon.co.uk who compared to our local pricing is dirt cheap. Got Band of Brothers Blu Ray for a third of what it costs here.

Try BangCd.com. Their stock is not as comprehensive as Amazon's, but they are usually cheaper. And it's free delivery, whatever the cost.

Well, I'm still waiting for my darn BluRay Movies!!! Band of Brothers were supposed to be here on Monday and The Matrix Collection today.

Thanks South African Post Office for being sooooo useless.

PS - I did watch the Dark Knight in BluRay and damn that movie looked awesome.

Have you tried DeepDiscountDVD? I havd a pretty good time with them for other titles/collections (Kubrick). But that was only for DVD's, not Blu. I don't know how they have fared since then...


Oh, and if you have not seen BoB, be warned. It had me sobbing at about the 6th episode. It gets you all geared up, then drops a (literal) bomb on you.

VERY nice series, and great even on DVD.
