I have a server with Windows 2003 server, I have vpn setup on it. On some of the client machines when they dail in from home it keeps disconnecting the vpn connection. I however have other clients that connects and dont have any problem with it disconnecting. Why will it happen to some clients and not to all of them? What can I check or change to keep it from disconnecting.

May be due to inactavity. On most client software there is a option to keep connection alive. I suspect the connection time is set low, or keep alive not checked. It could also be the energy managment shutting it down too.
