Hi
I just installed ThermalTake W0099 Power Express 250W. It is supplemental power to new HIS Radeon x1950pro AGP which it is doing great, games great.

As part of the install I put an extension inbetween the MB and original PSU that provides a lead to the new psu to syncronize it with regular start up.

http://www.thermaltakeusa.com/product/Power/PurePower/w0099/w0099.asp

Now, after install of psu and then start up stops before windows appears and now tells me it doesnt see the cd-RW drive or the dvd drive and I get a choice of F1:continue or F2 set up.

Going to F1 continue all else works great other than the computer isnt seeing the two drives. HD is fine, GPU is great. Open My Computer and no drives for CD or DVD are seen.

Going to F2 set up and then Im not sure what to do

Any recommendations?
thanks

As far as power goes the drives are getting power and operate normally though not appearing as an installed device.

I will re seat the connections and see what happens again

Thanks

As stated check the cables and make sure that one didn't get unplugged also try another molex connector to see if there is a problem with that one that is plugged into the drive. If you just installed the drive I would check the jumper to make sure it is set to the right setting for the cable being used.
