I've been thinking about getting two Nvidia cards and putting them into SLI, because the new mobo I'm getting is SLI compatible, and it'd be kind of pointless if I'm using my Radeon x800. :P

So, I was wondering, What would be a good budget card to put in SLI for a total of $300 or less? That would be for both cards.

Thanks.

Its not really worth going sli if your budget is $300. The best solution for that much right now would be the 1950xtx, but if I were you, I'd wait a few months to see what kind of dx10 cards show up.

don't waste you money. spend $370 on a 8800GTS that will blow the crap out of any $300 sli ever.

Agreed. Two 7950GTXs = ONE 8800gts.

hmm....ok.

I'll get the 8800GTS, or if ATI's dx10 card comes out, I'll look into that.

Thanks.

if you can afford the 8800gts then go for it.

it will outperform almost all lesser sli and c/f cards, even the high end ones.
and for cheaper and cooler.
