Dear all,

As I know that each user in domain, the default permission is local Power
User. But today I check some user¡¦s permission on their computers, and I
find out that their permission is only member of local User, not member of
local Power User.

Can I setup each users can be the member of local Power User, can I setup it
via Group Policy?

Many thanks!
David.

Hi,

If I am not mistaken, the Users being a Member of Powers Users went
out with NT 4.0 years and years ago.

You can use Restricted Groups in Comp-Config-Windows Settings-Security
Settings-Restricted Groups.

Best to create an OU and move all your computers into it and then
create a Group Policy for the computers on the OU. Don’t set at the
domain GP level or it will apply to your DC’s.

Cheers,

Lara
