The previous P4 multipliers were locked usually.
The following was in a article I read -
* If you were to increase the FSB from 200MHz to 266MHz and reduce the clock multiplier from 9x to just 7x, the E4300 would in fact become an E6300.
:?: So can I assume that Intel has unlocked the multipliers in there C2D CPU's and accessable in most new MB BIOS's, ie. P5B, GA-965P DS3, etc.
