Sorry if this question has been asked before.

If I have a HDTV monitor (no built in tuner), dish network 811
receiver, and Zenith Silver Sensor antenna, can I receive my local
channels in HDTV assuming I'm close enough to the broadcast towers? Or
do I need some other piece of equipment?

Thanks to all for your help!

All HD receivers from DirecTV and Dish can receive OTA broadcasts via an
external antenna.

The style of antenna you need is determined by your distance from the
source and on what channels your HD locals are transmitted. Check
antennaweb.org for more about your location and antenna style
recommendation.
