7600GT in SLI for $200

I have a chance to buy a pair of eVGA 7600GT's ( 256 Meg ) with aftermarket Zalman VF900 Heatsinks for $200

Not sure if this is a great deal or not.
I have not been keeping up with all the new cards.
I am currently running a single 6600GT.

Just wondering if I should jump on this.

They are 3 weeks old.

doesn't seam like too much of a great deal, for 200$ you can find single cards like a 7900GS and x1900gt that will out perform those two 7600gts most of the time for the same price, but if you can't get your hand on one of those, then go ahead with the two 7600gts as you getting them for pretty cheap, just 100$ a pop

Sounds like a good deal to me, but....

1. Why is the person selling these at such low cost after buying them only 3 weeks ago?

2. Do you have an SLi motherboard? If not, the money would be better spent on a single X1950 or 7950 card.


The heatsinks alone are rather expensive, so this seems like a good deal. Just be wary!

I payed 150 For each card then Bought coolers for each card which were 60 dollars each SO 300 for the cards then 120 for the coolers Total I payed 2-3 weeks ago was 420 dollars OUCH but I can't return them now cause it's past the 3 weeks and I really need to get these sold for the money... SADLY.

The two CARDS I have are The ones that ALLOW SLI there are some however that Will not allow it and can cause serious problems if tryed...

My single X1900GT scores about same...

anyway, check out the VGA Charts. Single X1950Pro beats two 7600GTs in most benchmarks and costs about $200.

Don't get the two 7600GTs.
