Well, did you let it partition the whole drive? If so you have erased the partition where your Windows installation was located. Current versions of Ubuntu place very nicely in dual-boot scenarios... so I can't imagine the default values overwriting your Windows installation. You should be presented with a menu to choose which OS to boot as your system is coming up... if not, well maybe you did delete your Windows install.
