Also, I would appreciate suggestions for a Graphics card. I do not plan to SLI initially – probably in a year or so with move to DX10. I would like to keep cost of card ~$200ish.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Why not get two 250 or 200gb drives and set them in raid 0 at the same price. Hard Drives will be mush faster. ATI 1900 or 1950 will be your best choice, since these ati cards have a much better image quality than nvidia cards (except 8800). These cards are capable of running Anti liasing and HDR at the same time wish will give quality image with straight lines. some thing that nvidia is not capable of doing. Nvidia only runs these one at a time.

Only a few little things:

1. Try to get a SATA DVD burner. No, it won't have better performance or anything, but will be more compatible with future systems. The price should be about the same as what you have now.

2. As for the Video card, this is a good deal. If I had PCI-e (stuck w/AGP  ) I would buy one of these...

Best of Luck
