Can I mix PC2-4300 with PC2-4200?

My Sony Vaio SZ1 series laptop has one stick of 1GB PC2-4300 in it, running at 266.7MHz (according to CPUz). Can I put in another 1GB stick of PC2-4200 (same CL) without (or at least only minimal) loss of performance?

Also, does anyone know if the SZ1 supports dual channel mode, and if it would work if I mixed the sticks as described above?

Thanks!

I don't think you will loose performance. If, I recall, they both run at 533Mhz, but I'm not to familiar with laptops....
