HIS Radeon X1650Pro IceQ 512MB DDR2 128 bit AGP
Just got this card today in the mail, current machine is
Asus a7v600x MB
Radeon 9600XT 256 AGP
2 GB 3200 micron RAM
3200+ barton
450 raidmax PS
Dell 19" LCD flat panel
Windows xp sp2, all drivers and MB up to date
Soundblaster Live 24
Demon ATX tower extra case fans
We have 2 systems basically idental except for brands of RAM, both machines running Radeon 9600xt 258MB AGP cards at this time with no problems
Both machines booted and accept the drivers, first machine would not load up a game then black screened, i rebooted then it black screened again, i loaded up the new driver from the internet, same issue, then screen went black with light on monitor still green,rebooted, downloaded catalist 6.5 or the recommened one for the game same issue. Pulled this card out , and in other machine same issue , then the monitor said it could not display 1024x768 (on both computers)
Pretty obvious DOA
